This came as a surprise/moment of scramble for me when I saw that my credit card was charged for a January box while I was in China. I freaked out for a bit, but after logging on, I noticed that I was just simply on a monthly subscription that just needed to be canceled. After figuring that out, I said "The heck with it! Another GlossyBox wouldn't hurt." Thus the arrival of the Man Repeller x GlossyBox collaboration in my mailbox.
It's that time of the month again... the arrival of the December GlossyBox!
This month's box consists of essentials for those holiday parties with family and friends; a flirty perfume, body oil for glossy skin, nail polish for some glitzy glam, dangly earrings for an updo, and haircare for perfecting your hairstyle.
Holy cow, this is the box that I've been waiting for since August! Dubbed "The Hit Kit" by Refinery29, it is filled with "elite" skincare products handpicked by their senior beauty editor, Megan McIntyre. Definitely a box full of sophisticated products. It also includes a surprise product, a very shimmery gold OPI nail polish from the limited edition James Bond collection from OPI.
The November GlossyBox came to my doorstep a few days late... more like two weeks late since I usually get my boxes in the first or second week of the month. Mine literally came today, and so I rushed this post so I can get the pictures of the goodies up! My Refinery29 edition GlossyBox also came today as well... and I'm stoked to share what's in the special edition box. You won't want to miss that!
This month's theme is SPA LUXE. All about winding down at the end of the day, giving yourself some time to relax your body and mind. Definitely a box full of products that will leave you feeling refreshed and pampered with products such as Carol's Daughter Shea Souffle daily moisturizer, Alessandro Pedix Heel Rescue Balm, Heartland Fragrances Exfoliating Loofa Soap, Alterna Bamboo Luminous Shine Mist, and a Modelco lipduo!
This is my first foray into beauty subscription boxes of any kind. I decided on Glossybox because they'll be collaborating with Refinery29 on an upcoming box (I know this is a weak excuse, hehe). I was willing to buy the 3 months subscription because of that (that box will be filled with awesome goodies, I can't let that go!), and this also gives me an excuse to try out Glossybox itself.
I have to say... I'm quite impressed with Glossybox so far.
